Snowmageddon

It's officially winter again in the Pacific Northwest.  Wunderground showed a temp of 15 degrees in Bellingham today.  Brrrrr, that Fraser River air is cold!  I didn't let the snow and bitter cold stop me from enjoying my day off though.

Heading out for a "road ride."

The only disappointing part about today's ride is that I forgot to bring my camera.  It would have been great to capture the "ice road trucker" style roads.  33 miles, but my tires never touched pavement.  I will be dreaming of Schwalbe studded snow tires tonight...

  1. Very cool logan. So what tires did you ride with and how deep was the snow? Pa

  2. Hey Dad. I was using the Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.1 tires with about 15 psi. We have 6-10 inches up here, but I was riding mostly on hard-packed snow and ice.
